We are seeking students who not only enjoy being on stage as theatrical performers but instrumentalists as well.
Auditions will be held the week of September 12, 2022. Please see the Walsh Theatre Arts Website for specific Audition information and ways to sign up to audition for the cast, musician or tech crew. THEATRE ARTS WEBSITE
Rehearsals begin the third week of September with other clubs.
Performance Dates are December 9th and 10th.
School of Rock is the story of "Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn an extra bit of cash by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight–A pupils into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band. But can he get them to the Battle of the Bands without their parents and the school’s headmistress finding out?
School of Rock - The Musical, with its sensational live kids’ rock band, is a loving testimony to the transforming power of music. May the spirit of rock be with all who pledge allegiance to Lloyd Webber’s newest hit!" Concord Theatricals
PICK UP AND DROP OFF
Pick up and Drop Off
If you will be dropping off or picking up your child, please follow the traffic pattern. For the safety of all students, vehicles are not allowed in the circle in front of the school from 7:45 - 8:10 and 2:00 - 2:35. This is to allow the buses to safely drop off and pick up students. Students will be dropped off and picked up in the large parking lot nearest to the fields. Staff members will be in the crosswalk to assist students. A crossing guard will be at the end of the driveway to assist students crossing Brook Street.
There will be signs indicating which door grade 6, grade 7 and grade 8 students will enter. Students who would like breakfast should enter through the main doors.
6th Grade Door is #17
7th Grade Door is #22
8th Grade Door is #21
Students should arrive at school no later than 8:05, as homeroom begins promptly at 8:10. Students who are not seated in the homeroom by 8:10 will be considered tardy. Students should report to the office prior to going to homeroom if they arrive at school after 8:10 AM.

Cell Phones, Electronic Devices, Hats and Hoods
Cell Phones and Electronic Devices
These items are not allowed to be used during the school day. If parents/guardians provide their child with a cellphone it must be turned off and kept in their backpack or locker. If a student has their cell phone/electronic device out during the school day, staff members will confiscate the item, notify parents and return it to the student at the end of the day. If there are repeat offenses, items will be confiscated and parents/guardians will be contacted and asked to come to the school and meet and pick up the phone/device.
Contacting Students
When it is necessary to get an important message to your child during the school day, leave a message with the school secretary in the main office. Students are not to carry and keep cell phones on during the school day as they tend to be a disruption to themselves, their classmates, and teachers. The secretary will make sure your child receives your message. Children are not allowed to be called out of class to take phone calls from parents. In order to minimize class interruptions, please limit messages to topics such as family illness or a parent being absent from home after school.
Hats and Hoods - Student’s hats and hoods are to be removed in the school building. Exceptions may be made by the Principal for religious or medical reasons or designated school “Spirit Days.”
