What I've Been Reading...
The first article is about using gestures in the classroom to deepen learning, or how talking with your hands is actually a good thing! The second article was recommended by a teacher at LMES and is a great read about tackling courage in all aspects of education; as a teacher and for our students. The third one might come in handy as we move into Parent-Teacher conferences. Are all parents difficult? Of course not. Have you ever had a conversation with someone you didn't see eye-to-eye with? Of course, you have. The final one is a bit of a survival guide for Thanksgiving as we meet and mingle with relatives that we might not politically agree with. Some good tips!
