Linking Courses

Scheduling Students that move to a new campus, in district, during the school year

When students move from one campus to another in GCCISD, the previous campus courses should be linked to the new campus courses. This allows the new teachers to view past assignment grades and averages through an ‘L’ (linked) button in the gradebook.

  1. Go to Scheduling in Teams

  2. Type in the student's ID number

  3. Click on the new Course to be linked

  4. Click on Edit

  5. Click on the Schedule Link Drop down select the appropriate course to Link, i.e. the previous campus’ comparable subject

  6. Click Save

* Complete these steps after creating and saving a students schedule.
