A Message from Mrs. Swieckowski
Hello to all of our families!
Here we are in the 4th week of Extended Learning. I can't express the pride that I have for all of our students. As always, they have surpassed our expectations and have not skipped a beat with their learning. I also would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of our families for your patience, cooperation and support for your children and our staff. This is a moment in history when our students and families can look back and say that we did our part to keep ourselves, our families and the world healthy. Stay safe leaders! #WestyStrong

Building Updates: Technology
We realize that technology can be the best thing that has ever happened to us and the worst. Here is some information and support that have been established in the district in regards to security and technology support:
Zoom
Zoom has established a number of changes to the platform. A few precautions that we are taking are, we do not publish zoom link on social media. We also are including the password to enter the meeting on student email. If someone enters the meeting that is not supposed to be there, they will be immediately removed from the room. If your child needs support for using zoom with their teacher please click here for a helpful tips.
Empower
If you need support with basic navigation of Empower, click here for a helpful video.
Helpful Resources
We have included a few resources on our website on the Technology and Internet Safety page.
Parent Home Access Hotline
Families can reach out for Chromebook questions and support at (720)542-5213.
As always, we are here to support. Please reach out to your child's teacher or the main office with any questions that you may have.
Leadership Corner
Its easy to be frustrated that we are being asked to stay in our homes and only leave for essentials. That's one paradigm or way of looking at the situation. We can also look at the situation as an opportunity to slow down and enjoy the people around us that we get to spend time with. This video reminds us to "Be Where You Are".
