Red Ribbon Week
October 22-26, 2018
Dear WVL Parents,
Wisconsin Virtual Learning will be taking part in Red Ribbon Week, which is next week October 22 - 26, 2018. Red Ribbon Week was created to bring awareness to tobacco, drug, and alcohol prevention. The national theme this year is, “Life is Your Journey, Travel Drug Free.”
What is Red Ribbon Week? This week represents more than taking a stand against alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. It also means that people all over the country are dedicating themselves to healthy lifestyles. This includes exercising, eating right, getting plenty of rest, and trying to help your friends stay free of drugs.
How can you discuss these topics with your student?
Check out 10 Quick Steps for PARENTING FOR PREVENTION for more information.
