Things to Know About the App
1. It is an iPhone App, so when you search for it on your iPad in the App Store, you will need to use the dropdown option in the top left corner to select iPhone Only.
2. When students first open the app, it will ask permission to access the microphone and they need to say yes to that question.
Chirping a Photo
1. Google the word "math". Click on images. Select an image and save it to your camera roll.
2. Click on the + sign in the App and select Camera Roll. The app will ask for permission to Access Your Photos if this is the first time that you have used this option. Find the picture you want to Chirp and click on the symbol that you see to the left.
3. When your students receive the image, they can tap it lightly and then select either Save or Share.
Chirping Links
1. Log into Pearson Realize.
2. Search for any Math term.
3. Click on See results from Gooru.
4. Find a good resource and copy the link.
5. Click on the + sign in the App and select Add a Link.
6. When your students receive the link, they can tap on it lightly and then select Open in Safari.
