AN EVENING WITH SIR JOHN KIRWAN
An All Black legend and Westpac Ambassador since 2013, JK is a strong advocate for mental health awareness in New Zealand. Together with Westpac, he travels around the country talking to communities about his story of mental illness and recovery, where to turn for help, and how to get through tough times. JK will be presenting at Campion College and we would like to take the opportunity to invite you to hear his korero.

QUEEN ELIZABETH II MEMORIAL DAY
You will be aware that Cabinet agreed to introduce legislation to implement a one-off public holiday to recognise and celebrate the life of Queen Elizabeth II. This public holiday, the Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Day, will take place on Monday, 26 September 2022. Campion College will be closed on this day.
CAMPION COLLEGE SPORTSMAN & SPORTSWOMAN 2022
We are seeking those who are interested in applying for Junior (Years 7-10) and Senior (Years 11-13) Campion College Sports Man and Sports Woman 2022.
To be considered, you must apply. Please submit your cv via email to brendon.hart@campioncollege.school.nz detailing your sporting achievements for 2022 only and a cover letter explaining why you think you should receive this award.

SADD STICKERS
In a personal plea to get young drivers to slow down, Students Against Dangerous Driving (SADD) national leader Hayley Lincoln has designed a road safety sticker with a powerful message.
The stickers with the message SPEED THRILLS AND KILLS have been distributed to SADD leaders around the country. You can read the full story here.
YOUTH MASS AND YOUTH GROUP
The final Youth Mass for 2022 will be held in the Church on Saturday 24th September at 6.00pm.
This Mass will be followed by a Youth Group gathering in the Parish Centre led by the NET retreat team and the Prefects. Youth Group will conclude at 8.30pm. All students are most welcome to attend and pizza will be provided.
YEAR 7 & 8 RETREATS
Our Year 7 & 8 students thoroughly enjoyed their retreat day with the NET team where they focussed on Authentic Relationships.” This theme invited young people to be intentional about making time to look up from their screens and truly see others and let themselves truly be seen.
