A Successful Move!
The library made a successful and seamless move into the Auditorium (MPR) over spring break thanks, in part, to the awesome IT department who made sure that all of the computers and printers were up and running. There was no interruption of service and we are as busy as ever! If you haven't stopped to check out the new set-up, come say hello. We'd be happy to see you!
Are you aware of any books or DVDs that you will need from the library to have on hand next August/September? We are expecting to still be in our temporary space and will need to know your needs sooner rather than later in order to be prepared to meet your needs.
Are you developing a new project or assignment for next fall? Contact one of the librarians to discuss any items we can consider adding to our collection to support you and your students.
Research Season is in Full Swing
Spring is in the air and so is research season. The librarians have been busy supporting projects in English 9 and 10, ACP English, AP Lit, Digital Citizenship, The Life and Mission of Jesus, and Social Justice. Meeting with teachers, creating LibGuides, and providing research instruction and guidance inside the classroom and in the library are just some of the steps being taken to move towards the reality of embedded librarianship. If you have a project idea and would like some assistance developing ideas, collecting resources, or instructional support, stop by the library or send us an email. We would be pleased to assist you.
