Keeping the Faith and Keeping Connected

January 17, 2019

Volume 3, Issue 20

"O God you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you."

Psalm 63:1-3

Teacher of the Year Nominations

This year, we will be honoring all of our wonderful teachers by selecting a teacher of the year. This is no easy task as all of our teachers work tirelessly to educate our students. So we need your help! In order to qualify, teachers must have taught for more than 1 year and preference is given to teachers who teach more than one class (but exceptions will be made if necessary). Students, parents, faculty, and staff can nominate a teacher. If you would like to nominate a teacher for this annual award, please send one or two paragraphs answering the question: “Why I think Mr./Mrs. Teacher deserves to be the teacher of the year for 2018-2019.” Please email your nominations to Mr. Ragsdell

Spring Directory

An email went out this week with our Heritage Academy Spring Directory attached. If you did not receive it check your spam folder, and then let us know. You can email Ms. Reed here, to have a copy sent to you.

Old School Values, New School Schedule

Heritage Academy is a University-Model® School, facilitating students' access to excellent education, increased time with family, and opportunities for growth toward maturity while providing a cost-effective, college-preparatory education. In an age where family life is becoming increasingly fragmented, the unique structure of the model also serves to “turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers ” (Malachi 4:6).
