Thank you to everyone who went above and beyond our first week to help out, even when it wasn't your student, your class, or your duty. Thank you!
School Security Drills:
Our second drill for the month of September will be a shelter in place. Please remember that there are A LOT of us that will need to fit into the designated area (gym, apr, etc.) Please keep your class orderly and close together so that we can all fit in case of an emergency.
There should be NO talking during drills, please remind your students of this.

Tuesday, September 10
- Brief meeting with all New & Non-tenured staff regarding Back to School Night 2:40.
Wednesday, September 11
- We will salute the flag together today in remembrance of September 11, 2001. I will conduct the flag salute followed by a moment of silence.
- Back to School Night (View schedule and notes in Teacher Folder) Please be in your classroom ready to go 30 minutes prior to your start time.
- NO Faculty Meeting- I will be available (as always) for any questions or concerns.

- Week of September 16th is Constitution Week
- September 17 - PTA Meeting @ 6:30 (2 volunteers needed for students attending)
- NWEA must be completed the week of 9/23-9/27. I will inform you as soon as all tests have been set-up. Do NOT attempt tests prior to 9/23 as uploads must be complete prior to testing.

- September 30- Progress Reports OPEN

Friendly Reminders:
- Halloween 2019! If you haven't already voted, please do so ASAP. It's a close call between M&Ms and Pirates!
- Please send Facebook photos to me, and I will forward them to Sue. I will be using these photos on Twitter & Instagram @ClaraBWorth
- Preschool & Kindergarten teachers please send your students to lunch with their name tags on for the month of September. If they come without a tag, please place a sticker on them with their name, especially if they are buying.
- Kindergarten & 1st grade students must travel in pairs. Preschoolers must always be with an adult.
- All classes should be using exterior exit doors for dismissal- not walking through gym, library, or technology. Please utilize hallway exits for dismissal.
- Please make sure you have a magnet for your door, & that your door is locked ALWAYS. I have magnets for anyone who doesn't have one. If you are not sure what I'm talking about, just let me know and I'd be happy to help.
