Our Mission Statement
PRAYER
A Note from Mrs. Longden
Blessings to you this Advent season.
Things around the school are changing as we enter the Advent season. One of our favorite things is the Advent prayers helping to create our bulletin boards. Other activities include prayer around a classroom Advent wreath, an all-school Advent prayer service, our service project, and family group activities focused on the season. Our weekly Gospels are also studied in different classrooms as part of our religion curriculum, and the students will have a chance for reconciliation and adoration.
This is a rich time in our Catholic school. The coming of Christ is understandable and exciting for our students, so it is a favorite time to be immersed in our faith.
This is a happy time for most people, especially those of us who have excited children and surrounding family, events, parties, and more. This is also one of the saddest times of the year for many people due to loss, loneliness, financial hardships, and grief. Many times these symptoms are obvious, but sometimes they may go hidden and unnoticeable.
Advent is the season of light. What does it mean to bring light to the world? You might be able to offer one small gesture that will bring great light to another person. Look at the people around you this Advent. Find those most in need of your light and support them as you can. That is the meaning of our faith. For Jesus was born in a cold stable amongst the animals and his family was supported immediately by the common people of the village of Bethlehem. His birth brought great light to those who witnessed and all who believed from afar.
Be the Light of Jesus this Advent.
Blessings,
Mrs. Longden

Meet in the high school cafeteria by 4:30 pm - look for Wiley or a Holy Trinity sign for our meeting spot. Parking available at the high school or across the street at Regal Ware/district office. Dress warm (but bring your Hawaiian leis) and we'll provide the candy to handout. Hope to have a good turnout of parents and kids! Thank you!
