Wildcat Families,

We're thrilled to share that our first week back to school was AMAZING! Students and staff had a fantastic time getting acquainted, reviewing our PBIS routines, and simply having fun. Special thanks go out to our incredible PTA for providing our TK and Kindergarten students with their awesome spirit shirts - it made their week!

As a friendly reminder, our Back to School Night is next Thursday, September 7. This event is exclusively for parents and serves as an excellent opportunity for your child's classroom teacher to provide insights into the exciting year ahead.

Coffee with the Principal & Title I Meeting

Please join me for Coffee with the Principal and Title I Information meeting at 8:00 am in the MPR on Friday, September 15. Coffee and donuts will be provided by our wonderful PTA!

School Lunches

As a reminder, all students in California will be able to get a school lunch at no charge again this year. They must order it with their teacher during the morning lunch count. Children who bring a lunch from home should not get a school lunch at lunchtime as we receive only the amount we send to lunch services following the daily lunch count.

Superintendent Advisory Committees

Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District Superintendent Dr. Alex Cherniss will host four community advisory committees throughout the 2023-2024 school year. The purpose of each committee will be to discuss district plans and allow parents and guardians the opportunity to provide valuable feedback. The committees will meet with Dr. Cherniss online via Zoom once every two months. More information about this opportunity and the form to apply are available at https://forms.gle/9qydfjrJn6LcsDQA6. The deadline to apply is September 1, 2023.
