It is super quick.

Picture Day - Thursday, April 7th

Don't forget about picture day on Thursday. Individual pictures are optional. Please let your teacher know if you would like your Patriots picture taken. Class pictures will be taken for those students who have photo permissions through the school. The 5th grade will also have their large group shot taken this day as well. Each class/group shot is $10.

A few parents have asked if we can do sibling photos. That is fine. Please just let your teacher(s) know so we may accommodate the session.

Yankee Candle Fundraiser

Our PTO is sponsoring the Yankee Candle fundraiser which starts yesterday. Each Patriot should have received an order form packet to come home. The fundraiser runs for two weeks. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the office and we can assist you. Deliveries are scheduled to be before Mother's Day.

Yearbook sales

All students are going to be receiving a yearbook with their name and picture on the cover on/near May 2nd. Similar to the picture packets, if you choice to keep the yearbook, simply send in a check for $17. If you do not choose to keep the yearbook, send it back in with your Patriot. There will be information shared if you would like to order an additional yearbooks or pay online closer to that date.

AVID night at STES - for our 4th-5th grade parents and students

We will be having an AVID night at STES on April 18th from 6-7. More information will be coming in the next week or so.

Literacy Night update

Literacy Night will be held on May 9th. There will be many different activities going on around the building to include snacks for sale and raffle basket drawings. We will pass along more information as we fine tune our plans. We are very excited to have this event this year. Can't wait to see the halls buzzing with families excited about Literacy!

BRAX cups orders

We still have a few BRAX cups orders that still need to be picked up. Please come to the office and we can assist you.

BrightBytes Survey - We need your input parents!!

Hello Parents & Guardians,

We are partnering with BrightBytes, an educational research organization, in order to learn more about our students’ school and home technology use for learning. For that reason, we are reaching out to ask you to take part in a short questionnaire (approximately 5 minutes). Your participation is essential in helping us form a more complete picture of technology use for learning in your students’ lives. Please know that all of your responses will remain anonymous to protect your privacy. The last day to take the survey will be May 1st. Thank you for taking time to complete this and support Stateside Elementary School.

A message from the PTO

Happy first day of spring break! While you are cleaning out those closets, please remember that the Richlands United Methodist Church excepts donations in their drop box on the side of the thrift shop. This church supports our CHEW backpack program so let's do our part and support them! Wishing you all a safe holiday!
