ROOM 8

This module was all about our first flight test. Part of the focus was on the Health and Safety rules we needed to follow when it was time for our first launch. Each student had a role to play within their group. We had a Chief Engineer, Chief Scientist, Chief Health and Safety officer, Videographer and results recorder. During module 1 the students had to research each of these roles and why they were important for our Rocket Challenge.

ROOM 6

Here are our Maker Space creations and our clue writing from this week. Read our clues and see if you can guess what we are?

You can eat me. I have sprinkles. You can find me in the bakery. I have icing. I am made out of pastry. I start with D. What am I?

By Isla Wourterson.

I have wings. I can swim. People kill me. You can’t sleep in me. I live in a duckpond. You can eat me. You can’t wear me. I don’t live underground. What am I?

By Toby Nicol.

What am I? I have two antennas. I am green. I like eating leaves because it is my food. I have a lot of legs. I am an insect. I am tiny but you can see me.

By Rooney Baker.
