VIP’s News

We want to thank everyone that became a member of our PTO and supported our Copeland Colts. We are proud to announce KINDERGARTEN has won a popsicle party!! They had the highest grade level PTO member participation at the deadline. No class has 100% participation so no extra recess, but there is always next year. The PTO drive has ended, but you can still join the PTO and help contribute to our Copeland Colts. If you would like to join PTO or to see what all the PTO supports, please go to

Throughout the year, your HRC will keep you informed of class parties, school events, volunteer opportunities and much more. You should have received several emails from your HRC in the past two weeks. If you haven’t received any e-mails from them, please ask the teacher for your HRC’s contact information and reach out to the HRC to ensure he/she has your e-mail address. The HRCs will rely on e-mail for all communications so it is really important to provide them with your e-mail. Also, make sure you have entered their email into your contacts so you don’t miss out on anything!

There are several ways to volunteer, but one of the kid’s favorite is parent reader for grades K – 2nd. You should have received a sign up genius from your HRC to sign up to read 30 minutes to your child’s class. The kids get so excited & love it when a parent comes to read to them.

Field day is approaching quickly. See the sign up link in the field day section to sign up to bring a pop-up tent for the day. Also, you should have already received an email from your HRC with a sign up for things specific to your class.
