What Physical features are in Brazil?!
Brazil is home to the Amazon Rain forest and the Brazilian Highlands. The Amazon Rain Forest is a very popular place to go to and take tours around. Also the Brazilian Highlands cover a lot of Brazil. The Brazilian Highlands peak is about 9,485 feet high. That's really high if you ask me!
What physical feature do I want to go to?
If I ever got to go to a physical feature in Brazil than I would probably choose the Amazon River. I did some research on it and it apparently is the largest river in the world by discharge and the second longest river in the world. Also I have heard that a lot of the river is really nice. There have been a lot of people that have gone there and said that is very nice and I would like it if I could be one of those people.
Cuba's Government
Cuba has a Communist government. This means that almost the whole country is ruled by one person. Their current leader is President Raul Castro. He was first elected in 2006 and his term will be over in 2018. This means that normally the terms in Cuba are about 12 years. That's a long time compared to the United States. Although it might seem that Cuba has a lot of money and wealth, but actually they are having troubles feeding some of the people in their country.
Mexico's Economy
Mexico exports lots of things like machinery and oil. Some of their top imports are vehicles and parts. Their top three trading partners are the United States, Canada, and China. Their GDP is 10,307.28 USD, and their Literacy Rate is 93.96 percent. Also over 90% of Mexican Trade is over a free trade barrier. Mexico first joined NAFTA on January 1, 1994. NAFTA was first created between Canada, the United States of America, and Mexico. It was first made to eliminate barriers to trade and Investment between the three countries. I personally think that was a great idea because it now costs less to trade between the three of them.
Venezuela's Economic Concerns
In Venezuela there are a lot of environmental problems going on. Some of the concerns are that there has been a lot of Deforestation in major woods all around Venezuela. One solution is that the government could more restrictions and consequences towards the people that do cut down the trees without permission. Also the government could have cops and/or security people patrolling around the woods or forests. Another problem that Venezuela is having with their environment is that there is a lot of pollution going around their country. Some solutions to pollution is that they could start to shut down factories that use to much pollution or make them move. Another solution is that they could start trying to use different alternates to energy like Hydro electric power.
History of Brazil
Brazil first started out with only the Indigenous people living there. In about the 16th century the Europeans came to Brazil and took over. The first leaders name to arrive at Brazil was Pedro A' Ivares Cabral. The first people to ever colonize Brazil colonized it on April 22, 1500. When the Europeans first came over to Brazil they had brought lots of diseases like Measles. The native people did not have the same immune system as the Europeans so many of them died once they got there. Also there are still some of the houses of the natives that lived there before everyone else still standing. Although they are not livable, the structure of them are still standing.
