Archery News
Dear Parents,
I am excited to introduce myself as this years Barry Archery Coach. The season will be starting soon so I would like to share some information about our program and about upcoming tryouts.
MISSION STATEMENT:
PC Archery is an athletic club for students to learn archery fundamentals, compete at state and national levels, and exercise advanced levels of dedication, responsibility, and teamwork.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT:
We strive for our students to demonstrate strong academic achievements as well as being leaders in their school. We will be following the guidelines for MSHAA http://www.mshsaa.org/resources/pdf/Official%20Handbook.pdf.
SAFETY STARTS WITH YOU
Student archers will be required to follow safety instructions at all times. If at any time the coach feels that a student is not participating in a safe manner the student may be asked to leave and or not return.
Tryouts days, time, and location
Students, 5th-8th grade, will sign up for a one hour time slot for a practice opportunity to be held in the Barry gym. Saturday will be a mini-tournament in which we will score archers for placement on the team. I will post a Sign-up Genius for interested students to save their spot. Check out our archery page on Facebook -” PCR3 Archery Community.”
