TEAM TALK

CHEETAH CHAT

As you may know, Allen ISD has contracted with a janitorial service named GCA Services Group. The good news is that we are fully staffed now, however, there will be some changes you will want to know about. Now that we are fully staffed, specific areas have been assigned to each person. Because this process will be new to them, it may take some time to get adjusted. For instance, one person may be emptying trash and vacuuming his or her area, and look up to realize he or she only has 30 minutes left and still an entire hallway to complete. GCA asks that we have patience until they get the new routines down. They will start with their new areas on Monday. If you have additional concerns, please let me know.

REMINDERS

  • Remember to clip your jeans pass on the clip board in the hall near our office.
  • Chick-fil-A spirit day is Tuesday. Please remind parents in your newsletter.
  • If you receive supplemental resources (books) that have been purchased with AISD or campus/grade level budget, those items must be bar-coded first, then can be checked out.

TALENT SHOW UPDATE - NEED YOUR HELP!

Boo hoo. Unfortunately, the videos we did are impossible for Jamee to link and flow together. She worked and worked and worked on it, but it's impossible. If you would be willing to do "pop-see-koo" live at the talent show, you would be a hero! It will be fun and "the more the merrier" so no one person will have to go it alone. Speaking of fun, does anyone have a hot dog costume? He he! For real! Please sign up in the teacher's lounge and practice will be Wednesday, March 3rd in the gym at 3:15. We need you to sign up no later than Monday, so Jamee can have it all worked out and we won't have to waste time figuring out what to do.

KIDS AGAINST HUNGER

Do you want to wear jeans every Wednesday for the rest of the school year? I do! Pay Calli $20 and you will receive jeans passes! WOO-HOO!
