1.) Edgar lived with his Aunt and younger cousin Eleonora in the text Eleonora he lived with his cousin and aunt in "The Valley of the Many-Colored Grass," an idyllic paradise full of fragrant flowers, fantastic trees, and a "River of Silence."
2.) Eleonora was sick she didn't fear death but she feared Edgar would love another after she passed on and in the text Eleonora she didn't fear death but fears the narrator (Edgar) would leave the valley after her death and transfer her love to someone else.
3.) After Eleonora's death Edgar travels to a new city and meets Ermengarde and marries her and in the text Eleonora the narrator (Edgar) travels to a strange city where he meets Ermengarde and with no guilt marries her.
