2012 Black Tie Soccer Game

The most amazing soccer game you've ever seen will be BIGGER THAN EVER! As a tongue-in-cheek protest to the typical formal banquet fundraiser, we host our banquet on the soccer pitch and attire the players in black tie and ball gowns. This year's Black Tie Soccer Game will take place at Grady Stadium, right in the heart of Atlanta. And this year, some very sporting Atlanta celebrities such as Bert Weiss of Q100's Bert Show and Justin Lock of CBS Better Mornings Atlanta, will join the festivities!

Soccer in the Streets

Soccer in the Streets empowers kids who lack opportunity to become independent young adults by building character and self reliance through soccer and employment experience.

The organization has pioneered the use of soccer for social change since its launch in 1989. Throughout the 1990's, Soccer in the Streets led the way in conducting soccer clinics in urban and under served communities. The organization was heavily involved in events conducted in host cities of the 1994 FIFA World Cup and the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup. Over 125,000 kids in more than 75 US cities participated in Soccer in the Streets events.

In recent years, Soccer in the Streets has increased the depth of its programming. Combining physical high level soccer instruction and vigorous physical activity with teaching critical life skills has set us apart.
