Book Fair
Dear Families,
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming back to Blue Ash! Visiting the Book Fair is like going to a bookstore that is set up in our school. It will take place April 4th-April 8th. Students will be visiting the Book Fair during class time and can purchase books during their visit. Preschoolers are welcome during any “Open Shopping” slot. If you are available to join your child, we invite you to come in for this awesome event. You will find a schedule of when each class is supposed to attend as well as “Open Shopping” times on the back of this page. Please know that if you are unable to attend Book Fair there will be adults available to help your child make his/her selections.
There are many ways to pay for your child’s books. All major credit cards are accepted for your convenience. Additionally, you can send money in a marked envelope in your child’s responsibility folder. If you prefer to pay with a check, checks can be made payable to Scholastic, or you can use e-wallet by visiting https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/blueashelementaryschool.
Our Book Fair gives you the opportunity to buy carefully selected, quality books and products at a variety of reading levels and at affordable prices. Bargain Books will start as low as $1.99. Most importantly, it gets our students excited about reading! The Book Fair flyers preview just a few of the bestsellers that are offered at the Fair.
Don’t forget to mark the Book Fair dates on your calendar! Your support of this literary fundraiser is key in helping us continue to purchase new books and resources for our media center and makerspace. We look forward to seeing you and thank you, in advance, for your support!
See you soon!

Active Aves is back!
Active Aves is a recess running program that allows kids to set and meet goals while having fun and being active outside with their friends. Kids run (or walk) laps around the playground, each of which is marked on a card. When kids complete a card (each card equals about 2 miles walked or run) they earn a token to mark their accomplishment. Kids who complete six or more cards will be entered in a drawing for a prize at the end of the season. You can help by volunteering to punch cards and cheer the kids on. Indoor recess cancels.
