AC Flora Robotics Team Shines in Debut Vex Robotics Competition
On Saturday, February 10th, the AC Flora Robotics Team made a remarkable debut at the Vex Robotics Competition (VRC) held at River Bluff High School. The 5-man team, led by captain Mawin Supanthapreecha, showcased their talent and determination throughout the event, leaving a lasting impression on both competitors and spectators.
The team, consisting of members Mawin Supanthapreecha (c), Tyler Thompson, Jonathan Ye, Cooper Salisbury, and Peyton Cobb, presented their meticulously crafted robot, RoboFalcon. The AC Flora Robotics Team earned three outright alliance wins. This impressive performance propelled them into the playoff round, where they continued to showcase their capabilities.
One of the most notable achievements of the day was the team being recognized as the Best New Team in the competition. This acknowledgment not only highlighted their outstanding debut but also solidified their position as a force to be reckoned with in the region's Vex robotics competitions. The Falcons are already looking ahead to future competitions, vowing to return with even more experience and innovation in the upcoming seasons. Please see photos.
