A Message from Mr. Anderson
Welcome 2021! I hope that you all had an amazing break and are ready to come back to school in the new year ready to work hard and play hard! We missed you!
As we move into the new year, please know that we are working everyday to get better in educating our students. We are having discussions often about how we can connect with our students more and what instructional practices work the best to reach more students. We are dedicated to keeping our school safely open and getting as many children in and connected to school as we possibly can.
Please make sure your child is prepared and ready for their welcome back to school Zooms Monday morning! Charge those devices, turn them on and make sure everything is working as it should! Please remember that our school app has a "tech help" button should you need any support:)
To all our parents and guardians... we couldn't do this without your support, help, and understanding. Thank you. From the bottom of our hearts hear at school, thank you so much! We appreciate this community more than you could possibly know! In addition, we are so grateful for the Board of Education that we have. On December 21st the Board of Education took the time to visit our school, meet with our teachers, and show a continued interest in the education of our students. There are some great pictures of the visit in the Smore! Enjoy!
#PantherFamily!
PS - To continue some celebrations, if you happened to miss the WETM news on Christmas day and New Years, they ran two segments highlighting our teachers and students on how we are working hard to highlight student acheivement in the arts and also keeping the holiday season happy and bright! The links are below if you would like to watch!

School Info App - Communicating with your child's teacher(s)
How to Get messages from your child's teachers: One important way to get messages from your child's teacher and to make sure that you are getting updates from the school is to go to "My Alerts". Once in "my alerts" make sure that "Enable Push Notifications" is turned on and that all of the buttons are turned "on".
Next... look at the bottom of the screen, you will see the picture of a bell next two an icon of two people. Click on the icon of the 2 people. This will then bring up teachers names along with icons to turn on notifications. Search out your child's teacher(s) and turn on those notifications.
If you would like to send your child a message, go back to the main screen and click "conversations" this then works just like text messaging on your smart phone. Make sure to put a title to the message so you know who you are sending it to when you go back to the app.
New Things!
- The student absence and Tech Help Forms are now in a button on the first page of the app! Just click and you can fill everything out on your smartphone!
A word of advice - Always check and make sure when you are in the app that you are in the correct school. Make sure that it is the Campbell Savona Elementary school:)
