The Great Barrier Reef is located in the Coral sea off of Queensland, Australia. To get into Australia, one must have a valid passport that is not expired or out of date.
Restrictions and health issues
There are many restrictions because of human and fishing damage to the reef as well as the damage from climate change, runoff, and crown-of-thorns starfish that feed off coral polyps. There are not many health issues other than maybe stepping on some coral that can cut your feet.

Some things to do are snorkeling and scuba diving as well as taking boat trips around the reef and staying at the very elegant hotels and resorts around the Great Barrier Reef. The Great Barrier Reef is home to thousands and possible millions of diverse organisms that only reside there and are full of organisms that are unknown to human knowledge. The diversity and beauty of the Great Barrier Reef makes it a reef vacation one must visit.
