Month 1 Down!
Greetings, Bigelow families & students! At the end of this week, we will be one month into the new school year! Now that wasn't so bad, was it? :-) One down; only nine more to go!
As we observe October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we also observe this week as Mental Illness Awareness Week, as recognized by The National Alliance on Mental Illness. Our Bigelow Counseling Department will share communication this week in advocacy of our students' & school community's mental health & wellness, or you can visit the BMS Counseling website for resources. To further promote students' social-emotional wellness, please see some photos below of physical activity students engaged in around school last week.
Parent/guardian reports from the spring 2021 MCAS have been posted in Aspen. Families are now able to view these, as are teachers and staff. NPS will send an official announcement & more details regarding this Monday morning.
There is plenty of information included within this week's newsletter for your family to digest. Feel free to contact me, any other member of Bigelow Leadership, or the Executive Admin. Asst., Kersten Raso, with questions, comments, or concerns.
Lastly, we are requesting help with masks! Please ensure your child comes to school wearing a mask, and brings an extra! We hope to see all students bright & early before 8:05am each day. Thank you!

Our soccer teams faced off against Weston this past week! It was a nice turnout with beautiful weather!
