Greeting Families,

Our goal is to maintain communication with families in light of school closures over the summer.

Through Distance learning, we have learned how to use Google Meets as a platform to communicate with families in real-time and would like to use the google live stream feature for 2 virtual town hall meetings scheduled for June 24th at 12:00 p.m. and July 22nd at 6:00 p.m.

In our last Cub Reporter, we provided questions for families to consider to help us guide our conversations during these meetings. These questions are included in the below Parent Survey. To help us prepare for this virtual meeting, please complete this survey by June 23 at 5:00 p.m.

Below is the needed information to attend the first meeting on June 24th.

The 2019-20 yearbook has still not been printed. The publishing company handling our yearbook is currently working at 50% capacity because of this orders have been delayed.

Once we receive an update we will send more information on how we will process your orders.

If you are still interested in a yearbook email Mrs. Newman at We will put your name on our reserved list and payment can be made when you receive the book.

We are still requesting the return of all library books. A red bin will be placed by the school's front office door Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All books may be placed in this bin. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

Educators at The S.C. The Department of Education have developed digital learning resources for parents and students. These include at-home enrichment resources and website resources. All of this can be accessed at

Report Cards and Parent Portal

Report cards were mailed to Dutch Fork Elementary School students on Friday, June 12, 2020. Let the registrar know if you did not receive your child’s report card in the mail.

Registration Gateway Update

Lexington-Richland School District Five will send Registration Gateway Update links around July 1, 2020. (Note that this is not for registering students new to the district.) Login information for each child will be included. This is your opportunity to update contact phone numbers and email addresses. If you have a new address, be sure to enter it and send the proof of residence to the registrar, if you have not already done so. Please use the same information for each child in a family, especially the Emergency Contacts.
