Economics Course Update

Fall 2017

Big image

We had a combined due date on Sept. 20th. I have placed 0s in for assignments that are not submitted. I have graded everything that was turned in before 9/23. I will continue to grade late work that is turned in before 9/26.

I know Irma got many of us out of our normal routine. However, it is time to get back into the swing of things. Many of you are off to a great start; though some of you have gotten off track. It is not too late to get back on track.

General Suggestions

There are so many resources at your fingertips. My biggest suggestion is to review using the format that works best for you. For some, it is watching videos, for some it is reviewing vocabulary with flashcards or a similar format, for others it is taking practice tests. Find what works for you and use that.

For module tests, I would also suggest reviewing the quizzes and multimedia elements from the module.

I think we are off to a great start and I have been impressed with the level of work I have been receiving! Keep up the good work!

File Formats

I have had a few issues with students submitting the wrong file formats and then I cannot open them. The accepted formats are: doc, pdf, rtf, ppt, jpg, and png.

I will notify you as soon as I can using the feedback in the assignment. As per GAVS Student Handbook, you will receive a 0 and have 5 days to resubmit the assignment without penalty. If you have a problem, please email or text me. Many of you have been doing that and I really appreciate it because it helps us solve the problem is a much more efficient fashion.
