News from Highview for Band/Orchestra Families
The parking lot improvements that were completed at Highview Middle School over the summer have contributed to a more organized and safe student drop-off and pick-up routine. We ask that parents please use the drop off lanes designated for student drop off when bringing your student to band or orchestra at Highview in the morning. Please do not use the visitor parking lot in the center for drop off.
In an effort to continually improve this process, we ask all parents to please stay in the lane closest to the curb/the school when dropping off or picking up students. We do not want students crossing in front of vehicles so it is very important that all cars remain in the lane closest to the school/curb. The outside lanes should only be used to exit the line after your student has exited the car.
Please see the diagram on the left for more detail.
Thank you for helping us during this transition with our new parking lot. Your student’s safety is our first priority.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation. If you have any questions please feel free to send me an email at sheila.eller@moundsviewschools.org.
