COURSE REGISTRATION FOR THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR
Welcome to the Stanwood High School 2021-22 registration. In this newsletter we have provided resources and information about how to register for classes for next year. Here is a brief overview of the process for students:
Step 2: Review the graduation and post-secondary requirements for your goal.
Step 3 Review the course catalog to determine courses of interest that meet the graduation requirements and assist in preparation of your goal or exploration.
Step 4: Log in to Xello and register for courses (see instructions & Videos below)

Once in XELLO, Click on Course Planner under Goals & Plans

2. Please sign up for 3-5 Alternate courses
3. Only sign up for addition credits (more than 6) if you are taking one of the following courses:
- FPA341 & FPA342 Jazz Band
- PEH319 & PEH320 Zero Period Weight Training
- CTH211 & CTH212 Sports Medicine 1 Practicum
- CTH311 & CTH312 Sports Medicine 2 Practicum
- CTE421 & CTE422 Work Site Learning

COUNSELOR GOOGLE MEET SESSIONS FOR HELP
The counselors will have open google meet sessions on the following dates/times (google meet code is shsreg) to answer registration and course questions. Families need to use their student access to get in to the google meets.
The final google meet session will be on April 21st 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
ADVANCED CLASSES FOR 21-22 SCHOOL YEAR
We are starting to post information about our advanced classes for the 2021-2022 school year. You can find the information on the website.

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN RUNNING START?
If you are interested in doing Running Start next year, plan to attend one of their virtual information sessions. Students that are juniors and seniors next year are eligible and should apply for running start in April. Here are the links to the college running start pages and how to sign up for information sessions:

Current 10th graders wishing to do Running Start for their Junior Year:
Please register for a complete schedule as if you were going to be on campus. This will serve as a back up in case something happens and you are not able to get into Running Start or the classes you want there. After you submit your registration, please send an email to your counselor asking how to sign up for Running Start.
Current 11th Graders wishing to do Running Start for their Senior Year:
If you are already in Running Start, you may add Running Start to your schedule.
If you are new to Running Start: Please register for a complete schedule as if you were going to be on campus.
