Halloween RemindersPlease review the following which has important information about AM kindergarten plans, classroom room reps & volunteers, costume guidelines, lunch, inclement weather plans for the parade, outdoor parade, food, and safety & supervision. | Family Reading NightFamilies celebrated reading and learned about trees and woodland animals in connection to our One Book One School program on the book Wishtree. Rotating through different stations at the Family Reading Night, families listened to stories, made nests, animal masks, and musical instruments, programmed Beebots, created word cloud posters, touched animals, created leaf rubbings, and more! We’d like to invite all families who attended the evening to click HERE to provide feedback on the event. | Thank You From the LMC!The Library Media Center Staff would like to thank the Olive-Mary Stitt families who visited the LMC during Family Reading Night and sponsored new books for our library collection. Our total count of donated books was 60. Also, we had some students who won autographed copies of new books. The winners were as follows: Adriana R. in 4-4 won The Island of Dr. Libris, Ella V. in 3-4 won Abe Lincoln at Last!, Elliott M. in 1-2 won Nerdy Birdy Tweets. Thank you to all of our families for your support! We will use your donations to purchase additional materials for our library. |

Family Reading Night
Families celebrated reading and learned about trees and woodland animals in connection to our One Book One School program on the book Wishtree. Stay Warm and Wear a Coat
Now that cooler temperatures have arrived we want to remind families that our expectation for recess is for students to wear a jacket or sweatshirt if the temperature is below 50 degrees. Students can always take them off and tie them around their waist if they are warm but they are not allowed to return to their classroom if they go outside and are cold. We appreciate your help in reminding your child that if you send them to school with a jacket they should be wearing it at recess too.
