Rising Queens Community Service: Interest Meeting

Rising Queens is a non-profit organization in Philadelphia that mentors young girls and empowers them with leadership skills. With the Office of Leadership Development, you will have the opportunity to inspire these young girls to be leaders and go to college! For more information and to sign up, join us at the interest meeting Tuesday, February 23rd at 3:00pm.

Leadershape Applications Are Now Available!
LeaderShape will take place at Camp Canadensis in Canadensis, PA from May 8-13, 2016. All lodging, meals and transportation will be provided to and from Temple University Main Campus to the site. Students are required to stay for the duration of the experience (all six days).
Student participant applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis beginning on February 28. All applications will close on April 1. Only completed applications will be reviewed.
Amplifying the Latino Voice: A Political Empowerment Workshop for Emerging Latino Leaders
American Jewish Committee’s Institute for Latino and Latin American Affairs is hosting a workshop on March 2nd in Philadelphia called “Amplifying the Latino Voice: A Political Empowerment Workshop for Emerging Latino Leaders.” A number of very prominent Latino and Jewish leaders will be speaking about legislative advocacy, philanthropy, and media and communications. It’s an incredible opportunity for young Latino leaders to learn tools for successful advocacy.
