Get Reading!!!! Battle of the Books (BOB)
B.O.B is a competition that you study for by reading listed books. 25 books will be split amongst a group of students as little as 4 and as big as 6. Everyone gets about 2 months to read their books. When the time comes for the competition, the school librarian will ask 2 competing teams questions about the books they have read. B.O.B books need to be finished before the competition in March. Your child has less than 29 days to finish reading their books! B.O.B. competitions will be in March. There will be a competition at Ewalt to get the school winners and then the top 2 Ewalt teams will compete against the other Augusta Elementary schools. You can come to the school or watch it live on Facebook. If your child finishes their books early, here are some ideas to help them practice;

3rd/4th Grade Music Program
Welcome back to the newsletter. On February 26th our 3rd and 4th graders get to show you how amazing and awesome they are at signing because of the work our Ewalt music teacher Miranda Filbeck has done. All she did was her job to make sure that our students have a wonderful music program and have fun. We hope to see you there because we need for your child to be there so they can do there part in this wonderful concert. All of the kids need to dress their best so they look cute as buttons. The concert will begin at 7pm in the Augusta High School Auditorium. Notes will go home closer to the concert.
