MUNSA
Faith Chapa, Deborah Craig, Brynn Dominguez, Victoria Johnson, Talina Koukoui, Chidera Ogogor, Melina Reyna, Advika Shankar, Ronin Vasquez, and Karolina Vega competed in Model United Nations San Antonio (MUNSA) last week Thursday and Friday. They did a fantastic job!
El Día de los Reyes
Spanish 1 & 2 students learned about the January 6th holiday, El Día de Los Reyes, and it's extremely popular in Puerto Rico. Children receive gifts on January 6th and create crowns representing the Three Wise Men. They also learned various facts, such as the three wise men were astrologers, camels store fat in their humps, and children set out hay on January 5th so that the camels can have a snack when they bring gifts to the child's home!
Presentations
Students in Spanish 3 presented what they did during the winter break...en español!
