- A MESSAGE FROM DR. SWANK -
Dear Pine Road Families,
It has been an exciting few weeks here at Pine Road! Our annual Fall Celebration and parade was a tremendous success. Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers for making this exciting day a reality for our students.
As is typical for this time of year, the concept of giving thanks is prevalent. Here at Pine Road, we will be focusing throughout the month on ways to be thankful each and every day. We are fortunate to live and work in such a wonderful community. During this month of thanks, I would like to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for the support you provide to the teachers, staff, students, and administration here at Pine Road. The successful teaching of a child is a team effort and we definitely could not do it alone. Thank you for your continued support and partnership as we prepare our students of today for tomorrow's challenges
Sincerely,
Brian J. Swank, Ed.D.

News from the cafeteria
Breakfast and Lunch menus are posted on a new interactive website, Nutrislice. Our innovative and interactive site and mobile app make our school menus more convenient and informative than ever before! Download the Nutrislice App from the App Store or get it on Google Play and then search Lower Moreland.
Food sold during the school day is required to meet nutrition standards that are referred to as Smart Snacks. Smart Snacks encourage students to make healthier snack choices to help give them the nutrition they need to grow and learn. Check out the 2019-2020 price list for the list of snacks we served in the cafeteria.
The cafeteria celebrated Halloween with a Lucky Tray Day! Lucky Tray Day is a special day for students that purchase lunch in the cafeteria. If a student finds a sticker under their lunch tray, they will win a prize! The prizes on Halloween were a Halloween bucket filled with whole grain snacks, a water bottle and school supplies. We also made Chocolate Dipped Marshmallow Treats to sell during snack. We will have another Lucky Tray Day in December, check the menu in December for the date!
