Red Ribbon Week
Red Ribbon Week, October 24-28, is both a celebration and commitment to be drug-free. During this week, Fulton Science Academy will celebrate by having a theme for each day of the week to show our commitment to a drug-free life. This program is being coordinated through the incredibly hard working parent volunteers who comprise the Mustang Support Organization (MSO).
This year’s Red Ribbon Week motto is “YOLO: Be Drug-Free, You Only Live Once.”
The school will have special themed dress days, face painting, themed ribbons, and stickers, as well as a canned food drive to support the school's partnership with "Blessings in a Backpack."
The school will provide assemblies by grade level to talk about living drug-free. These assemblies will be presented by the Amen Clinic.
Please take this time to speak with your children to discuss what they know about drugs the importance of living drug-free. This week is being coordinated with tremendous thought and consideration because #fsacares.

Red Ribbon Week Door Contest
We need your help!!!
This week at FSAPS we will be doing a door decorating contest during the week. Our class has worked HARD to put together a superhero themed door for Red Ribbon Week.
We are SUPER SECOND GRADERS! We have the POWER to be DRUG FREE!
Pictures of each decorated door will be posted on the FSAPS Facebook page on Monday, October 24, 2016. You will have all week to click and like the door decoration you like best and on Friday October 28, 2016 we will announce a winner. Home Visit Program
Home visits are a special program offered by FSAPS to help build the parent, student, and teacher relationship. This is an opportunity for your child's teachers to visit and get a closer look at their life at home. This helps a teacher to know more about each of his/her students, and build a strong relationship between school and family. These are optional, but if you would be interested in planning a home visit for your child, please see the information below.
How Can You Schedule a Home Visit?
This process is very simple. Please send an e-mail to our home visit coordinator, Mrs. Unal, at junal@fultonscienceacademy.org. In that email, please provide three available dates for your child's home visit. We will get back to you to confirm a date. At least two teachers will be together for home visits; specific names/subjects will be dependent upon teacher availability.
For any questions you have about this program, please send an e-mail to junal@fultonscienceacademy.org.
Please note: the best times to schedule a home visit are weekdays after 5:00pm, and during the weekends, except Sunday mornings.
