STRUCTURE LEARNING TIME
Dear Families,
What a joy it has been welcoming many of our students back to in-person learning this week. Hearing the sound of children’s voices in our hallways and on our playground brings a smile to my face and continues to be the bright spot in these challenging times.
As this year unfolds, we continue to examine our practice and strive to improve instruction for every student. We are thrilled to share with all of you that we will be adding synchronous instructional time for all students in grades 1-4 during their remote times beginning next week. This will provide additional live time with staff members each day that students are working remotely. Grade level teams will be sharing with families specific schedule changes which will also be reflected in their Learn Anywhere Plans.
We recognize that remote learning is challenging for elementary students, especially asynchronous activities. We are thrilled to be able to provide this additional synchronous support and instruction for our students and are confident that this will be a positive change for both students and families.
If you have any questions regarding specific grade-level shifts, please first reach out to your child’s classroom teacher. Our school office staff is also available to answer any questions you may have.
We hope you enjoy the long weekend.
Best regards,
Principal Mascia
