A Word From The Principal
As the fall and winter progresses, we want to encourage all students to participate regularly in the opportunities CTP offers. Not only do we want to continue to work on our skills for independent living, but also, we want to provide opportunities for social connection while we may be physically apart.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to your teacher or to me if there is anything we can do to support you.

Students Get Emotional Support (continued)
Thank you for the positive responses to pictures of students with their pets. So, by popular demand...
Now more than ever, we need emotional support. One great way to get that support is through our pets. In these trying times of coronavirus and distance learning, pets can provide that positive connection to help us through our days. Enjoy these pictures of CTP students and their pets.

Book Club
Five Feet Apart
One of this month's feature classes is Book Club. We're listening to and reading Five Feet Apart and we are loving it! We started reading the book last year, but we were interrupted by the Coronavirus. Who knew that this virus would foreshadow the connection we would have with the characters in the book? The main characters, Stella and Will, have Cystic Fibrosis. They fall in love... but they have a terminal illness that prevents them from being able to breathe on and touch each other. They have to wear masks, gloves, and be six feet apart at all times. Sound familiar? Students are waiting with anticipation to finish the book so that they can watch the movie. Besides popcorn, make sure to bring a box of tissues...

Next Month's December issue will feature three more polls:
1. What is your favorite dessert?
This might be a simple question, but oh so hard to decide when you can only choose one.
2. If you could speak an animal language, which would it be?
Just be forewarned that dogs and cats will not be one of the choices students and staff get to choose. The outcome of this poll should be very interesting to say the least.
3. If you had a band what would you name it?
Students and staff get to choose a band name that have never been used. Maybe this will inspire you to choose one of the top 4 choices to name your band..real or imagined.
