Arroyo Seco Jr. High School -- November 9, 2018
Principal's Message
Hello Seco Families,
We hope that you all have a safe and happy three day Veterans Day weekend and take the opportunity to recognize all of the contributions made by our many family and community members in the Armed Forces.
Because of Veterans Day, there is no school this Monday, November 12. The following week is Thanksgiving, so there is no school on Thursday and Friday, November 22 and 23. We hope this is valuable time to enjoy with friends and family and for your children to recharge their batteries to finish up the second quarter.
Friday, November 16, is the last day of the 2nd quarter progress reporting period. Teachers submit grades on the 19th and they will be posted on Tuesday the 20th in IC. While these are progress reports, they represent the halfway point of quarter two. Please encourage your children to work hard to complete all of their work this next week and have them reach out to their teachers if they have questions or concerns.
Our next Parent Advisory Council (PAC) meeting will be Monday, November 19, at 8:30 am in K Hall. Our topic will be College and Career Readiness. Coffee and light breakfast treats will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there.
If you haven't done so already, please take a few minutes to complete the Safe Routes to School parent survey. For more information, and the link to the survey, please see below.
Have a great week!
