First Day of School

Irving ISD will resume school on Monday, August 15th, 2022.

Meet the Teacher Night

Students and families are welcome to Lamar Middle School on Wednesday, August 10th from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm to meet their teachers for this school year.

Registration for current students begins Monday, July 25th. Register at Parents can log in into HAC Account to complete registration.

Registration Assistance

Online registration for current students begins Monday, July 25th. Login into your HAC Account to complete registration.

In-Person registration will be available, by appointment, beginning August 4th from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. On August 4th and 8th, help will also be available from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

Assistance is available in English and Spanish.

Residence verification

Residence verification is required for all students in PK, K, 3rd, 6th, and 9th and students new to Irving ISD.

New this Year for New and Current Students

Parents will also be able to register for bus transportation in HAC for the 2022-2023 school year. Once registration is complete, parents will receive bus information, including routes, numbers, etc., in their HAC account.

Please note: Bus information including bus routes, bus numbers, etc. will not be posted on the website.

Immunization Records-Registration Requirement

Families needing immunizations updates may contact Karyn Beauchamp at 972-600-5205 to schedule an appointment. Based on eligibility and vaccine availability, she will get families in for shots as soon as possible.

Grades and Registration

Please use HAC to view your student's updated report cards. It is helpful for all parent/guardians to regularly log into HAC as this is where students’ grades are reported and where parents will register their students for school each year. Please use this resource to log in or receive log in assistance.

Dress Code

School Uniforms

  • Tops must be non-branded collared shirts and can be any solid color.
  • Pants/Capris must be pleated or non-pleated slacks. Capris must touch the kneecap or below.
  • Shorts and skirts must be no more than 2” above the kneecap.
  • Sweatshirts, hoodies, and jackets worn in the building are preferred to be plain solid colors, college, Irving ISD high school, or Lamar spirit-wear.
  • Outerwear that has printed brand names or graphics is not school approved and cannot be worn in the building.
  • Hoods and hats cannot to be worn in the building, including individual classrooms.

School Supplies

All students will need basic school supplies such as pencil and paper, in addition to headphones or earbuds and their Irving ISD issued iPad. Teachers will inform students of specific supplies needed for their class.
