Dear Muskego Lakes Families,
As we head into the 4th Quarter of the school year, we have many fun opportunities ahead for students. We also get to celebrate all of their hard work and progress as learners as they finish off the school year strong.
So, we wanted to take a minute to thank you for all of the support you provide as part of the Muskego Lakes community. From the way you come alongside your children with academic support to the encouragement you give them as learners, we are so thankful that our students have such strong support systems around them.
We are so thankful for all the ways you support us as a school as well. We are grateful that you support our PTO fundraisers, help supervise after school events, volunteer in classrooms, stay up-to-date with our newsletters, nominate staff for Musky Awards, and so much more. Most recently, a huge shout out to the many families who donated snacks for the Forward Exam testing next week. Because of your generosity, every student will have a snack for each day's testing session.
As we look ahead to the long weekend, we hope you are able to enjoy some sunshine and time with family.
With Love,
Rachel Rydzewski & Nancy Pasch

Grade 8 Celebration Photo Slideshow Information
The Graduation Planning Committee wants to get things started so that we can put together something extra memorable for our children as we close the chapter on Muskego Lakes Middle School. We want to include EVERY classmate in the slide show. If you could please help us out with a couple of items:
**We do understand that some parents may not want their child in the slide show and may have signed a waiver at the beginning of the school year to not have pictures or video taken of their child. If you DO NOT want your child in the slide show please send an email to MLMSClassof2026@gmail.com and we will abide by your wishes. We are using the email you send as your waiver.
PICTURES NEEDED:

Women of Will
Women of Will is a female athlete empowerment group at the high school that exists to help females overcome obstacles, whether mental, physical, or rooted in society's expectations. Our goal is to strengthen and improve female athlete participation by promoting teamwork, building an interconnection between female athletes, sharing resources, and inspiring each other to make a difference. If you have an incoming female freshman planning on being involved in MHS Athletics who would be interested in being a part of this group, please have her fill out an application that can be found in their school’s office. The video below was created by the WoW Leadership team in hopes to inspire our female warriors.

Mid-Week Munchies for Staff at MLMS
Speak Up, Speak Out Wisconsin
Our staff at Muskego Lakes take threats seriously. We are grateful for our partnership with students and parents as they continue to be invested in their school culture as we all work together to keep our schools safe. We encourage all families to talk about how a child should respond to any threat or concern, regardless of the source or legitimacy. If a student or parent is not comfortable going directly to a district staff member, they can use Wisconsin's Speak Up, Speak Out that will notify a school administrator and/or police authorities immediately. Speak Up, Speak Out! Speak Up, Speak Out is managed by the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of School Safety.
You may make a report by visiting the website, using your smartphone by downloading the SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT app from the Apple Store and Google Play, or by calling 1-800-MY-SUSO-1 to speak to a resource center analyst.
