Additional Climate/Culture Questions and Survey
Please use the link above to participate in gathering some baseline data on additional climate/culture survey questions. The addition of these questions came about as a result of building concerns regarding climate. After those concerns administration sought advice from other administrators and supervisors. We also spent time researching school climate and culture. In an effort to tailor our personal learning goals we are collecting baseline data on the questions in this survey. These questions will then be added to the district climate survey in November. EDC's were given the opportunity to provide input on the questions and helped add additional questions. Please let one of us know if you have any additional questions about the survey.
Intervention Update
The tentative plan is to follow up with PLC teams on Wednesday, October 19th to make sure teachers and interventionist are ready to go. We will also double check that all students have been accounted for. We will plan to start interventions on October 24th.
Once interventions begin students should be progress monitored weekly by the person implementing the intervention. All of the progress monitoring data will be reviewed right before Christmas break.

Resource Article
Below is a link about a school who replaced detention with meditation. It's a great article and makes a lot of sense when thinking about some of our students. Enjoy!

Oops of The Ridge
My Dearest Ladies of the Ridge,
I just wanted to encourage you during this time. As you look at these notes and some are not so kind, just know that some of us are watching and think you're doing just fine. So I hope you smile knowing you are great even is some want to hate!
Our Response:
This note made our day! We always appreciate the kind words of encouragement. To whoever wrote this, thank you. This one is a keeper and will be placed with all the other positive notes we receive. Thank you not only for the words, but for the time you took to write it. We know everyone is really busy!
Walkthroughs and Observations
If it is a CITW walkthrough you should receive an email. The items observed will be noted in the email and will be attached as a PDF. If you would like any other feedback please reach out to any of the administrators and we would be happy to chat.
After a formal observation you should also receive an email from NEE. Your evaluating administrator should contact you as well for a short conversation about the observation.
Please do not hesitate to ask about any of our visits. We love seeing you teach, watching kids learn, and processing it with you afterwards. We learn so much from you and what your kids are doing! Keep up all the great teaching, you are making a difference.
