Looking for an amazing camp?

Check out Sandy Hill Camp at the Camp Fair tomorrow!

Hello Ed Major Friends!

I just wanted to let you guys know about this awesome camp I worked at last summer and will be working at again this summer! It's called Sandy Hill Camp and it's located in North East, Maryland. It was an incredible experience for me; I can't say enough good things about it! If you are interested, I would love to talk to you about it! You can also check more about it below. :)

Have an amazing week!

Tressa :)

P.S.: Feel free to pass this on to anyone you think might be interested!

Even though Sandy Hill is not a Bible camp, the owners, Greg and Kathy Ann, are Christians and they strive for Sandy Hill to be a place to show God's love to the campers and staff as a witness. There are opportunities for the staff to lead and be apart of Bible studies. Many of the campers that come to Sandy Hill do not come from Christian homes, and I had the opportunity to share my faith with some of them. I also got to witness to some of the staff who were not saved.
What Sandy Hill means to our staff!

Pay and other such details...

Sandy Hill pays on the high end of most camps for first-year counselors (about $2,600 for the summer). Room and board is included, and the food is good (better than Bon Appetit in my opinion!). You can also earn extra cash by volunteering for bus duty at the end of each week or doing odd jobs over the weekends.

The camp also provides optional day trips for all the staff (for free) on half of the weekends. Past trips have been to New York City, Washington DC, Baltimore, and Rehoboth Beach.

All-staff training begins June 10th. Specialty training like ropes, waterfront, and equestrian begins earlier (June 1st at the earliest). You are paid for training as well. Camp ends August 19th, but if you need to leave earlier you can ask ahead of time for your last day to be August 12th.
