There will be NO Reading Logs over break, but PLEASE have your kids read!!

School will dismiss at noon on Tuesday.

I hope you all have a wonderful winter break. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

"I CAN"

This section of the newsletter will highlight what we have learned this week!

READING: I CAN compare and contrast two or more versions of the same fairy tale.

WRITING: I CAN use different styles of "fonts" to make my writing more interesting like the real authors of Geronimo Stilton and Mercy Watson do!

SPELLING: I CAN spell my core words this week: made, over, did, down, only

LANGUAGE: I CAN find the subject in a sentence. (The Who? or The What?)

MATH: I CAN count by groups of 2, 5, and 10.

SCIENCE: I CAN make an imprint in dough to look like a real fossil!

We took of Rock/Soil test on Thursday. We will begin a new unit after the winter break.
