Cassidy Gifted and Talented News
Week of November 9
What We Are Up To This Week in Gifted and Talented
In Literacy, we are continuing work on our non-fiction research projects. We have learned how to do an effective search, how to determine if a website is reliable or not, how to cite sources, and how to paraphrase/summarize to take notes. Students are now organizing their notes and beginning to draft their projects. As students near completing their projects, we will begin to work on presentation skills to prepare them for presenting their projects to the class. Some groups have also started book clubs and others will begin in the coming days/weeks.
