Ike
This hurricane stuck the Texas coast killing 84 people, which has been the most recently. Ike damaged the availability for oil, and damaged the United States economy. This hurricane damaged 19.3 billion dollars of property.
Rita
Hurricane Rita was the 4th most intense, killing 59 people in the gulf. She reached speeds of 180 mph. Hurricane Rita took out 12 billion dollars in damage.
Allison
Hurricane Allison did it's damage by flooding to coast of Texas, killing 23 people. It formed by a tropical wave in the Gulf of Mexico. Galveston experienced a water wall of 8 feet, but only dealt with 1.22 billion dollars of damage.
