Principal's Message
Ravinia Families,
As we are ending our first two weeks in a pivot to full remote learning, additional materials may need to be picked up depending on grade level units and material requirements. We will be contacting families to pick up additional materials as needed.
I hope everyone is able to spend time outside with your families this weekend enjoying the beautiful weather. Don't forget to practice mitigation efforts to ensure that we can return to hybrid learning as soon as possible.
Wear a mask
Wash your hands
Watch your distance
Warmly,
Courtney Nordstrom, Principal

From the Library
Want to check out a book from your school library? You can!
Second through fifth graders have all been taught how to place a book on hold using the Destiny Discover App located in Clever. Ask your child to show you how it works. The remote students do not have the app in Clever, but there is a link in Otus under Class Board for them to access the catalog from there. Kindergarten and First graders will need an adult to help them place a book on hold. Please see this video for instructions.
Here's what you need to know:
Please wait for a confirmation email from your librarian before coming to school
Books will be in the vestibule at your school
Please enter through the front door
The door to the vestibule will be open from 8am-4pm
Books are located on a shelf and arranged by grade level
There is also a return bin for you to use when your child is finished reading the books
You may choose any day that is convenient for you to pick up or drop off books
Once your child has placed a book on hold, it will be pulled and checked out to them.
Books are available in the vestibule at school with their name(s) on them.
Please do not come to the school until you receive and email confirming that your child’s book is ready for pick up.
