New Safer At Home Order
Governor Evers released an updated Safer at Home order this afternoon that effectively closes our schools to face-to-face instruction for the rest of the 2019-20 school year.
We understand that this is disappointing news for our students, staff, and families who were looking forward to getting back to school when it was safe to do so. In the meantime, we will continue with our digital instruction. We have been impressed with our students' learning, perseverance, and support of one another.
We are working to determine what implications this new order has on extracurricular activities, graduation, summer school, and many other end of year activities. We will share more information as we know more.
No School Days Reminder
To allow our teachers time to plan for continued online instruction, there will be no digital learning on Friday, April 17, for K-8 students and no digital learning on Monday, April 20, for Grade 9-12 students. Teachers will use this time to meet virtually in teams to prepare essential learning and instruction for upcoming weeks.
COVID-19 Community Resources
During this public health emergency, we know there are families in need. Our community has many resources available, but it can be difficult to find them all in one place. The MASD student services team has created a quick COVID-19 Family Support Resources document with quick links to financial support, health care resources, workforce development, and more! Check it out today and share with those in need!
MHS Class of 2020 Yard Signs
To recognize our graduating seniors, BK Promotions has created yard signs for the families of our 2020 graduates. If you are interested in donating the $7 cost of a sign for a family in need, go to https://mukstrong.itemorder.com/sale by next Thursday, April 23.
Thank you and congratulations to the Class of 2020!
