Students who were consented by their parents/guardians in the fall will again receive a dental screening and fluoride application. After this session is complete a form will be sent home with your child including their results and recommendations, as applicable . If your child participated in the fall they will automatically be included in this session. If you wish to opt them out please let the McGraw School Nurse, Natasha Adams, know ASAP. She can be reached by phone at (207) 862-3830 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and by email at anytime at nadams@rsu22.us.

Thank You
Administrative Assistants' Day, Wednesday, April 26th.
Thank you to our administrative assistants, Mrs. Bacon and Mrs. Hallett for their wonderful work to support our school community. We are blessed to have them as an integral part of our school community.
Congratulations!
Young Writers Contest Winner, Lew McHale!
Young Writers had a contest for an Ancient Adventures Anthology opportunity. Students were asked to think of a time period or historical event and write a short narrative (no more than 100 words) about a person or escapade that happened during that event or time period. Only using one hundred words was tough, and Lew worked hard to whittle his story down, while still keeping it entertaining. His final piece about three men on the Titanic was selected to be part of the anthology! He received a certificate and a bookmark. The school will receive a free copy of the book. Lew is ecstatic about being published, as one of his dreams is to become an author.

Hannaford Helps Hampden!
We are so excited to share that Weatherbee has been selected to benefit from Hannaford’s Community Bag Program, which makes it easy for customers to contribute to their local communities. For the month of May, whenever a $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at the Hampden Hannaford , $1 will be donated to our Weatherbee PTO. This is a great way to broaden awareness and help our cause. The more people who purchase the Community Bag in May the more we can raise! To learn more about this program, please visit hannaford.2givelocal.com.
