From Our Principal

Dear Parents,

We have been working hard on the Learning Commons and the STREAM Lab. The Learning Commons has been painted and we are working on re-arranging the space for a student centered environment. It is an exciting time at Shepard. Mrs. Seward is planning a STREAM week in October to highlight the curriculum areas we will focus on in the Lab.

We need your help. The PTA is campaigning to raise funds to contribute to the STREAM Lab. It is our hope that you can share this link on your Social Media outlets. We want the word out about the amazing things happening at Shepard.

We appreciate your support!

Sustainable Tip -

How can you become a “Green Shopper?” There is no definitive answer to whether shopping online or in person is better. Whenever you shop, though either online or in person, consolidate your purchases so as to use less packaging and fuel (for shipping or driving). If you can, shop locally so you benefit the local economy. Bring reusable bags with you – they aren’t just for the grocery store!

Change in Routine Pick Up?

Parents, Mrs. B would like to remind everyone that if a change occurs in the way your child will be picked up from school on any given day, please call the office by 2:15 pm so the message can be relayed. We know emergencies happen but it makes for less confusion for both your child and the staff if everyone has advanced notice if there is a change in the normal routine.

Correction- Child Safe # is 469-752-3100 option #3

Thank you!
