Form 9 Financial Data Submission, Steps Five through Seven
As part of the July to December 2019 Form 9 financial data submission process, Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) will implement additional steps in the Form 9 upload process to comply with federal reporting and documentation requirements and state transparency requirements. Three additional steps added to the Form 9 financial data submission process are expected to provide sufficient documentation of the appropriate use of object codes for federal reporting purposes and the calculation of indirect cost rates.
Additional information is available in this memo and the below presentation.
Deadline January 31, 2020.
November Tuition Support Distribution
The Office of School Finance recently released an updated Form 54 Basic Grant Monthly Distribution payment detail in State Aid (Finance Application). The Form 54s reflect the actual November and estimated December through June State Tuition Support payments using updated membership counts. Updated State Tuition Support worksheets are currently available in State Aid.
Officials will be able to view and print the payment information in State Aid (Finance Application). This is a secure site and will require a login and password. The login is the 4-digit corporation number and the password is the corporation PIN. Basic Tuition Support was recalculated using the September 13, 2019 membership count.
Additional information is available in this memo.
If you have questions, please email Melissa Ambre or Amy Pattison.
November Adult Learner Distribution
The Office of School Finance has recalculated the November distribution of Adult Learner funds to eligible charter schools to reflect the use of the actual September full-time equivalency (FTE) count. If the actual FTE count was greater than the estimated FTE count, the November and December payments will increase. If the actual FTE count was less than the estimated FTE count, the November and December payments will decrease.
We will continue to use the September FTE count to calculate January to June funding estimates until the February FTE count is final and a reconciliation occurs in April.
If you have questions regarding the payment, please email Melissa Ambre.
Form 9 - Descriptive Listing Report
The Form 9 Descriptive Listing Report is continuing to experience a system issue. The other Form 9 reports are still running without errors. We are working with our developers to get the report running again as soon as possible. An announcement will be released through the Moodle as soon as the descriptive listings report is working again. Thank you for your patience.
